Alec Lapin founded Lapin Development in 2024 and currently serves as our President & CEO.

Since 2021, Alec has worked at Braun Enterprises where he is Principal of Urban Office with the responsibility for growing Braun Enterprises’ Urban Office portfolio and overseeing Urban Office’s new developments, leasing, property management and accounting. Under his oversight, Alec has helped grow the Urban Office team and its portfolio to 12 locations around Texas with additional locations currently under construction.

Prior to joining Braun Enterprises, Alec spent 2 1/2 years at J.P. Morgan working as an Analyst in its Private Bank. There, Alec worked with high-net-worth individuals on investment recommendations, wealth projection analyses, lending proposals and performance reviews as part of a team with over $7 billion in assets under management.

Alec attended the University of Virginia where he graduated from UVa’s undergraduate McIntire School of Commerce with majors in Finance and Information Technology and a minor in Real Estate.

Alec is a native Houstonian who moved to Tampa in 2024 and enjoys being outdoors where he likes to play tennis, go biking, and spend time with his wife, Christine, and son, Jack. Alec previously served as President of the Young Professionals Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston.
